During th planning stage we came up with a mind map, on this mind map we came up with our first idea, the idea was a murderer with a hair fetish, however we believed this came across as being in the horror genre rather than thriller.

We then changed our idea to a hacker adapting from the cyber world to the real world. We went with this because we believe the idea has more flexibility and has much more thriller conventions.
